The Reverse Acoustic Decay
This is the same concept as the reverse cymbal, however
applied to any percussive sound that you may wish embellish or
draw attention to. Use you editing software to grab the sound's
transient and decay, and copy it to another channel. Reverse
the audio clip and reduce its volume slightly. Then, line up the
transients so that the softer clip leads into the louder one.
