Sound Waves/Brain Waves
Singing Bowls:

I was first introduced to singing bowls in 2001. Chris asked me to
edit vocals on a song called ‘Blue Cheese’ by the band: ‘Esquevez’

Singing bowls allegedly originate from the regions in and around the
Himalayas like; Tibet, Nepal, and southern regions of China. They
have been used for centuries by sound healers, and music
therapists, as they are attributed to opening chakras during various
states of meditation. They are made from a variety of metals, and
come in several sizes. Singing bowls are struck with a wooden
mallet, and then rubbed in a circular, or stirring, motion. They emit a
root note and a strong series of overtones that fluctuate, or deviate
slightly, as the bowls are rubbed.
